Mercure Reggio Emilia Centro Astoria, with its prime location on the edge of the town center and overlooking the gardens, served as the perfect base for our exploration of Reggio Emilia. The welcoming staff made us feel right at home, and the elegant rooms offered modern amenities for a comfortable stay. We were pleasantly surprised by the regional cuisine served at the Officina Gastronomica Restaurant, which truly showcased the Emilian flavors. The varied buffet breakfast on the veranda provided a delightful start to our days of sightseeing and culinary adventures.The hotel's proximity to the Municipal Theatre Valli and Musei Civici allowed us to easily immerse ourselves in the city's cultural offerings. Additionally, the convenient facilities such as the fitness center and complimentary Wi-Fi added to our overall enjoyable experience.Although we opted to explore local breakfast options, the Le Bistrot bar offered a tempting selection of treats and beverages.
